Scaled Cognition is developing a new generation of rational, controllable AI models deployable as domain experts for grounded, real-world applications.

As a Python SDK Engineer at Scaled Cognition you will:

  • Collaborate closely with our research team to translate cutting-edge developments for building enterprise LLM applications into robust, modular, well-documented, and user-friendly library components.
  • Act as the core maintainer of the LLM-focused library, owning the end-to-end process of library development and iteration, including initial design of new modules through implementation, testing, documentation, tutorials, and maintenance.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance code readability, reduce technical debt, and optimize library functionality.

Example projects could include: 

  • Designing and implementing a new modular architecture for our Enterprise LLM Python library to facilitate easier integration of future research findings and third-party plugins.
  • Creating detailed documentation and examples to support both new users and experienced developers in leveraging the library to its full potential.

  • Have a proven track record of architecting and managing complex Python software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven history of architecting and owning complex Python libraries.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python.
  • Experience working with libraries and tooling common in the LLM and AI/ML ecosystem.
